Dr. Mike Condra
Dr. Mike Condra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Queen’s University and has taught in the undergraduate and graduate programs in the Department of Psychology and in the faculties of Education and Law.
For more than two decades he was the Director of the Department of Health, Counselling and Disability Services at Queen’s. Aside from his clinical work, he has provided consultation and advice to the university’s senior administration on issues involving mental health, students/employees at risk, and lethality.
Dr. Condra has extensive experience in providing public education, training workshops, and consultation on the topics of mental health, stigma-reduction, crisis-intervention, verbal de-escalation and suicide-risk assessment in Ontario and across Canada.
He also co-developed the Queen’s University Crisis Intervention Institute. He has presented at national and international conferences on the topics of mental health, risk-assessment, and compassionate self-care.
