CARE4YOU – A virtual conference to CARE4YOU, the helping professionals who CARE for us
Thursday, June 18th, 2020
Are you a “Helping Professional”?
Is it your job to care for, and help others?
Does your work involve exposure to trauma?
Is your work high-stress?
If this describes your work, then CARE4YOU is a conference for you.
What is the CARE4YOU conference?
Helping professionals can experience very natural, but negative effects as a result of constantly giving of themselves and caring for others. Adding trauma-exposure and high levels of stress to the mix can further compromise your health. At CARE4YOU, we give helping professionals the tools to address and manage the normal consequences of the vital work they do.
Who should attend this conference?
CARE4YOU is for anyone continuously giving of themselves, caring for and helping others like: nurses, police, first responders, teachers, doctors, child protection workers, lawyers, social workers, firefighters, union leaders and so many more.
What will I learn at this conference?
The sessions and speakers at the CARE4YOU conference will inspire and energize delegates to “care for themselves” by focusing attention on personal health – both physical and mental.
There is now ample research that demonstrates that healthy employees work more efficiently, miss less hours of work and deliver higher quality care. This conference provides helping professionals with the tools they need to address and manage the normal consequence of the work they do and helps to keep them doing their work in a healthy and sustainable way.
- Learn how to identify, mitigate and manage the “occupational hazards” of working in a high-stress, trauma-exposed work environment
- Connect with experts, innovators and leading researchers in the fields of secondary trauma, self-care, compassion fatigue and much more.
- Refuel with new tools, inspiring stories, energizing sessions and laughter.
