Since 2008, over 1000 students have successfully completed the Compassion Fatigue Train the Trainer program. This online course led by compassion fatigue expert and sought-after speaker and educator Françoise Mathieu, M.Ed., CCC., RP., CEO, teaches you how to design a customized compassion fatigue workshop for your community or organization, while also developing the skills and knowledge to become an effective and engaging presenter.
This online webinar offers tools, handouts, strategies, training materials and marketing strategies to adapt Compassion Fatigue 101 to your community’s specific needs and to your own presentation style.

Participation: There are four webinars and four Q&A sessions during the months of February and March and one follow-up call in April. Participants are expected to attend as many of these live sessions as possible. If you are unable to attend live, you must review the recorded sessions during the same week that the webinars aired.
Time Commitment: Taking part in this course will require that you protect time each week to complete the required readings and assignments. We recommend that you protect six hours a week to get the most out of this course. Please check your schedule ahead of time and ensure that the timing of this program works for you – we are unable to issue a refund once the course begins.
Certification: Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate indicating that you have completed the Compassion Fatigue Educator: Train the Trainer program.
You will be expected to complete the course and all homework assignments by the end of April 2020.

Who is this course for?
This online webinar course is designed for individuals who have successfully completed Compassion Fatigue 101 and who wish to acquire the tools to bring this training back to their agency or to their community. During the Train the Trainer course, you will be provided with all the resources needed to offer this training in full-day, half-day and one-hour formats.
How can I get the prerequisite?
If you have taken a Compassion Fatigue 101 live training with Françoise Mathieu or one of our TEND associates, you may meet the prerequisite for the Train the Trainer course. Please contact us at email@example.com.

I can’t attend some of the dates. Can I still register in this course?
Yes. Each webinar will be recorded so that you can access them at a time that works for you. However, you must review the recorded sessions during the same week that the webinars aired.
What technology do I need to participate?
We use the online program Instant Teleseminar for this course. You can participate by phone OR by computer (access to a reliable internet connection and a microphone is needed). Participants will also need to be comfortable using Dropbox to access the course materials.

In order to ensure quality and customized content, registration for this course is limited to 20 participants. If you intend to participate in this course, please register ASAP as we cannot hold or guarantee any individual spots in this course.

I can’t echo enough how great and resourceful this TTT has been. Between the abundance of material, hearing people share on the Q and As and the delivery through instruction over the 4 webinars I feel good about what has come from this and the support that is available should I need any further in preparing to deliver workshops this year.

The most useful part of the training was the practical and “real” stories provided by Françoise which brought the reality of delivering the workshops to life.
It is rare to be able to sit, listen, and digest new material. The webinar provided me with a thoughtful opportunity to have a focused session, go away and read, and then (in a graduated fashion) demonstrate my learning. The workload was as described in the first session and was appropriate.
I found the ideas for needs assessment, and the appropriate emphasis on knowing your audience, as well as the suggestions for having healthy living demonstrations. I would actually like to develop a workshop that would allow participants to spend a day sampling various activities.
This training was excellent; I feel way more confident than I did at the beginning in my ability to deliver a decent workshop!
