PREREQUISITE TRAINING

Please note, to register for this online program, prior attendance to a foundational course on secondary traumatic stress and empathic strain is required. The instructor teaches the program with the assumption that participants are familiar with these concepts and understand the unique impact these “occupational hazards” can have on helping professionals.

For those who have not attended a live or virtual training with TEND, this prerequisite can be met by completing the online course Compassion Fatigue 101.

If you are uncertain if a previous training meets these requirements, please contact us at alison@tendacademy.ca.
