Leadership Workshop for High-Stress and Trauma-Exposed Teams – Tools to Support (and Retain!) Your Staff

Chronic stress and heavy workloads can have an enormous impact on the health of an organization. When the added element of secondary and/or direct trauma exposure is present, balancing workplace wellness becomes far more complicated, and research shows, even more critical.

This workshop will present the resulting work of experts in high stress, trauma exposed environments and offer concrete tools to understand, assess and map out a step-wise approach to addressing these vitally important concerns in your workplace.

Topics Include:

  • The unique features of high stress, trauma-exposed work environments
  • What is Complex Stress? 
  • The 12-factor organizational health model
  • How to assess your team’s functional capacity
  • First steps: Dig where the ground is soft
  • Organizational Health Tools & Resource list


Please note that registration for this event is limited to 25 participants.




Rate: $180.00 + HST = $203.40

(this fee includes coffee, tea and snacks).

A 20% group rate is available for groups of 6+ from the same organization.

Located in a historic Kingston church, Sanctuary Coworking lives within the walls of a beautiful limestone structure. Built in 1864, the workspace preserves its function as a hub for collective learning, shared experiences and community gatherings.

We will begin welcoming registrants at 8:00AM at the front entry.

Cancellation Policy


We reserve the right to cancel this course should the number of registrations be insufficient. We are not responsible for any costs that may be incurred by the cancellation of this event.

Substitution Policy:  A colleague may attend in your place. Simply email us with the name of the person who will be attending in your place.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 14 days or more before the event –  we will issue you a refund, minus a $15.00 administration fee
  • Less than 14 days before the event – we will issue you a refund, minus a $25.00 administration fee
  • No refunds will be issued on or past the day of this event, Tuesday, September 17th, 2019.
