Fall 2025 | In Person | Calgary, AB
Facilitator: Françoise Mathieu | October 27 & 28, 2025
Please note that the instructor teaches the TEND Train the Trainer Program with the assumption that participants are familiar with the concepts of empathic strain (also known as compassion fatigue) and secondary traumatic stress, and that they understand the impact these "occupational hazards" can have on helping professionals.
To participate in the TEND Train the Trainer Program, participants must complete the on-demand course Secondary Traumatic Stress 101 prior to the beginning of the program. This course is included with your registration for the Train the Trainer Program.
If you have already completed Secondary Traumatic Stress 101, we encourage you to review the material and concepts prior to beginning the TEND Train the Trainer Program.
We are looking forward to hosting you at the Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel, 2620 32nd Avenue NE, Calgary, AB, T1Y 6B8, for this live event on October 27 & 28, 2025.
