We have an immediate need for a Lead Researcher: Organizational Health – Virtual/Work from Home (Full-time, 2 Year Contract)

As a Lead Researcher: Organizational Health at TEND, you will support the delivery of our Roadmap to Organizational Health Program (The Roadmap). This program is an intensive, multi-month service that supports organizations in improving the health and retention of their staff.
The Roadmap is delivered by a team of TEND Specialists. As part of our team, you will work closely with our TEND Data Analysts, Organizational Health Specialists and our Roadmap Coordinator to ensure the program’s success by performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of data produced from a mixed methods organizational assessment process.
The right candidate for this role must be confident in their ability to manage large-scale, mixed method data analysis projects. In addition, this individual will excel at managing details, learn quickly, work independently and collaboratively and work to firm deadlines.
In this role, you will lead and work with the TEND Data Analysts to:
- Oversee adherence to ethical organizational assessment and research practice.
- Conduct quantitative analyses of survey data.
- Conduct qualitative analyses of survey and focus group data.
- Synthesize and interpret findings from multiple data sources.
- Support the design and composition of organizational assessment reports.
- Support the development of focus group protocols.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of organizational assessment instruments.
- Assist in developing internal processes for ethical data management, documentation, and reporting.
- Support TEND Specialists with building data literacy.
Must Haves:
The successful candidate will have a graduate degree in psychology, sociology, social work, health sciences, or public health. Applicants must have graduate-level training in qualitative methodology with expertise and experience in content analyses and thematic analyses as well as:
- An advance research-focused degree
- Experience managing large-scale, mixed method data analysis projects.
- Expertise in multivariate statistics.
- Expertise in knowledge translation, data visualization, and report development.
- Experience conducting factor analysis and instrument development.
- Experience with organizational change initiatives.
- Experience with organizational, evaluation and/or psychological assessment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SPSS or STATA
Nice-to-Haves:
- Expertise with conducting focus groups.
- Training in Industrial and Organizational Psychology or Health Psychology.
- Knowledge in organizational health and trauma-informed workplaces.
- Understanding of thematic analyses typology.
Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
- + 2 weeks’ vacation (paid)
- + Minimum 1 week off in December (paid)
- + Fridays off in July and August (paid)
- + 5 personal days (paid)
